HISTORICAL CELLAR

Situated in the historic town of Montepulciano, these cellars, once part of the 13th-century monastery ‘Convent of the Padri Serviti,’ boast a storied past. At the cellar’s deepest point lies an Etruscan tomb, a testament to its use predating the monastery itself.

Crafted from the limestone of Montepulciano, our wine cellar provides an ideal haven for our Vino Nobile wines to mature gracefully. Within its confines, these wines age in serene tranquility, housed in 2500-liter barrels of Slovenian oak for a minimum of eighteen months. Subsequently, they are bottled at our winery at Poggi alla Sala, resting for an additional minimum of six months before being unveiled to the world. This meticulous process reflects our commitment to presenting wines of exceptional quality and character to a global audience.
