This Cookie Policy explains how toppetta.it uses cookies and similar technologies, which cookies we use, and how you can give, refuse or withdraw your consent. It applies to the website www.toppetta.it in all its language versions.

2. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit it. Similar technologies, such as local storage and session storage in your browser, work in the same way; in this policy we call them all “cookies”. Cookies set by toppetta.it are “first-party” cookies; cookies set by other services are “third-party” cookies.
3. Your consent
When you first visit the site, a banner asks for your consent. Under the GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679), the Italian Privacy Code and the Italian Data Protection Authority’s (Garante) cookie guidelines of 10 June 2021, we only use cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to work without your consent. Statistics and marketing cookies, including Google Analytics and WooCommerce order attribution, are loaded only after you click “Accept” or enable the relevant category under “Preferences”. If you click “Decline”, they are not loaded. Closing the banner with the “×” keeps the default settings and only strictly necessary cookies are used.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by clicking Manage consent at the bottom of any page. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before you withdrew it.

4.3 Preferences
We do not currently use preference cookies beyond the functional ones listed above. If we add any, they will only be used with your consent.
4.4 Statistics: only with your consent
These cookies help us understand how visitors use the site, so that we can improve it. We use Google Analytics 4 and WooCommerce order attribution. They are set only after you have given your consent; without it, no analytics cookies are set and no analytics data is sent. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses.

4.5 Marketing and third-party content: only with your consent
Some pages (for example Contacts and Restaurant) contain an embedded Google Maps map. The map is only loaded after you accept the relevant category; until then, a placeholder is shown. Once it is loaded, Google may set its own cookies and process your data under its own policy.
